About Studio de la Fuente

Studio de la Fuente is the creative home of Aïda, an artist originally from Hengelo, now living in Haarlem. The name is a tribute to her mother — a talented watercolorist with a love for flowers, who passed away in 2016. Her creative spirit continues to inspire and quietly shape everything Studio de la Fuente stands for.During a burnout, Aïda discovered the healing power of creating. What started as a way to calm a busy mind slowly grew into a deep passion for art. Her work is minimalist and richly textured, playing with form, material, and emotion. Each piece is designed not only to enhance a space visually, but also to offer a tactile, sensory experience — art you want to look at and touch. She works with materials like jute, linen, and other natural elements, often guided by intuition and playful experimentation. Her inspiration comes from nature, fashion, interior design — and often just from an idea that won’t let go. The process is organic and open-ended: she creates until it feels right.Studio de la Fuente is about bringing calm into a world that rarely slows down. It’s about art that quietly draws you in and sparks curiosity. What do you see? How was it made? And more importantly: how does it make you feel?Because life is busy enough. Your home should be a space where you can breathe. A place where art doesn’t just stand out — it belongs, and it feels good.
